A previously assigned 1910’s Type 1, was rolled back to 1909 and directly linked to the T206 Cobb image photograph, also from 1909.

1908 Merkle’s Boner Make-Up Game Photo

A 1908 Polo Grounds Photograph, hand-labeled as “September 23, 1908” and implying the image is from Merkle’s Boner game, has been debunked as the make-up game played on October 6, 1908.

1922 Braves Field Event Snapshots

A pair of 1920’s snapshots (one image is flipped), that depict an Old Timer’s Game played on September 11, 1922. Participants include Cy Young, Jack Chesbro, Kid Nichols, Zack Wheat, Frank Chance, Johnny Evers, Nap Lajoie among other stars from as far back as the 1880’s.

1960 Ted Williams Snapshot

A seemingly uneventful snapshot of Ted Williams waiting to bat; But upon further investigation, we find significant details proving it was his last ballgame, ending a stellar 19 year career- The game in which he hit his final homerun!

An attempt was made to roll-back a 1920’s assessment (based on photographic paper alone), the argument was made, however the subtle difference in an “Ltd.” between two London based companies with the same name proved to negate all of the research work. A warning to those interested in seeking the truth- sometimes it’s not necessarily what we want.

Full transparency- A 1923 photograph with the International Illustrations stamp compared to a 1914 International Illustrations, LTD stamp. This confirms that, at least based on the stamp, the Cobb photograph is from the 1920’s.

1905 Chief Bender at Hilltop- 1911 Bats Image

This Chief Bender photograph (1911 Bats card image) was rolled back to 1905 by a location analysis.
